What Does Your Company Do Best?
Posted by: KateWhen was the last time you asked your clients for honest feedback about their experience of buying from you?
Are the needs of your market the same now as they were last year?
Client attitudes change; and so do your competitors.
To remain competitive, it’s essential that you’re aware of these changes AND their impact on your business.
So how do you find the answers to these questions? Well, quite simply, you ask.
You ask
long-standing clients,
clients you recently lost,
plus some who are ready to do business with you.
– in other words, a good cross section of your client base.
This may only be a small handful of people but their feedback will be the best market research that you could ever do (and it won’t cost you a fortune).
So, go on, ask them for a 30-minute phone call or meeting – most will be happy to offer their opinions (you could even offer some kind of ‘thank you’ in return for their time).
Or you could run an online survey using, for example, Survey Monkey (which is free).
Tell them how valuable their feedback will be in helping you discover what your company does really well and then structure a set of questions that will leave you with a very clear idea of
1. What your company does best and
2. Where to focus your business development activities
